The First 3 Apple Carekit Apps Are Released
The first three Apple Carekit apps have been released with more coming soon.
The whole idea behind Carekit is to allow people to share their data with their healthcare providers. I’m very interested to see what apps are to come.
Apple Carekit Apps
Great for anyone struggling with diabetes.
Even though I am not diabetic, I do monitor my blood sugar. Managing your glucose level is a great predictor of longevity and stress.
Track pain, hunger, dizziness, food and activity with this app and compare them with your glucose levels. This can provide you with some insight that you may have missed otherwise.
And all this information can easily be shared with loved ones and caregivers directly from the app.

This app is geared towards people suffering from depression.
It helps you track your symptoms and responses to different medications. I was pretty impressed by this app. It takes you through a short questionnaire and then gives you a depression score.
You can track how this score changes over time compared to you medication, diet, exercise and other lifestyle metrics.
There are even reminders to log how you are doing and to take your medication.
You can even add your provider and a friend or family member so that they can support you.
Glow is a pregnancy app that allows you to track quite a few metrics relevant you and your baby’s health and progress.
This app is very user friendly and a must have for anyone expecting or trying to get pregnant.
This company has a few other apps related to women’s fertility, cycles and health.
